(ESI), a government contractor located in Bethesda is seeking a full-time <strong>Technical Assistance (TA) Specialist</strong> to provide technical assistance for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) ADS Center, a project of the Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS).The Center promotes social inclusion and acceptance of people with mental health problems.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:</p>
<h3>Program Support – ADS</h3>
<ul>
<li>Responds to technical assistance requests that are received through a toll-free SAMHSA ADS Center phone number and ADS Center email.</li>
<li>Uses SAMHSA ADS Center database and other resources to identify the most culturally competent, relatable and appropriate materials and trainings to address needs.</li>
<li>Assists with program materials development, editing, and research, as directed.</li>
<li>Participates in the ongoing identification, collection, and data entry of appropriate materials for inclusion within the assigned program.</li>
<li>Performs various support functions related to training teleconferences and Steering Committee meetings.</li>
<li>Strategizes with the Program Manager to plan service delivery innovations in response to trends in TA requests.</li>
</ul>
<h5>Qualifications</h5>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree with psychology, public health, social work or other social science emphasis</li>
<li>Experience (either paid or volunteer) working as a mental health consumer advocate</li>
<li>Personal familiarity with mental health consumer advocacy movements and networks</li>
<li>Minimum of 1-2 years of technical assistance or related experience in the social services, public health or Federal contracting environment</li>
</ul>
<h5>Required Skills</h5>
<ul>
<li>Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of databases, on-line data collection and content management systems.</li>
<li>Experience coordinating and facilitating teleconferences.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Strong internet research skills.
<ul>
<li>Detail oriented.</li>
<li>Excellent analytic skills.</li>
<li>Ability to multi-task in order to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.</li>

<p>The Kempe Center in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado at Denver Health Sciences Center is recruiting a Clinical Instructor/Mental Health Clinician for its Denver-Kempe Trauma Collaborative Center. This Center is a collaboration between the Kempe Center and the Denver Department of Human Services. The goal of this Center is to bring evidence-based mental health interventions to children involved in Children&#8217;s Protective Services. Clinicians will learn evidence-based interventions appropriate for abused and neglected children birth to 12 years of age. Interventions will involve providing home-based and/or clinic-based mental health services to meet the social and emotional needs of neglected and/or abused children and their foster, biological, and kinship caregivers.<span id="more-339"></span></p>
<p>Training in evidence-based interventions, infant mental health, child development, and related topics is provided upon hire with on-going learning through research articles, conferences, etc. We put a strong emphasis on team support; weekly individual and group supervision is provided. This position can range from part- to full-time.</p>
<h3>Job Responsibilities</h3>
<p>Attend all required training sessions in evidence-based practices, infant mental health, child/parent development, assessment and observation techniques.<br />
Learn to use evidence-based interventions for abused and neglected children and their families with fidelity.<br />
Participate in development of new evidence based interventions and collect all required clinical/research data.<br />
Carry assigned caseload and work with foster, kinship and biological parents.<br />
Notify supervisor of emergency situations promptly, verbally and with written follow-up.<br />
Work cooperatively and collaboratively with child welfare caseworkers.<br />
Have the ability to respond with flexibility to client needs<br />
Keep accurate, up-to-date process recordings of sessions, regular participation in individual and group supervision, and provide testimony in court when necessary.<br />
Must be prompt for client appointments, submitting required reports, and keeping in touch with supervisor and families as needed.</p>
<h3>Required Qualifications</h3>
<p>We are looking for an experienced mental health clinician to complete our clinical team. A master&#8217;s degree in social work or a related field is required; candidate can be working on state licensure. Candidates must provide their own reliable transportation for in-home cases; reimbursement for mileage will be provided.</p>
<h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3>
<p>A strong interest and experience in child trauma and in infant/toddler/preschool/middle childhood development is important. Ability to speak Spanish is also desirable.</p>

<p>Currently, we are seeking a Director Child Protection Services who is responsible for delivering relevant, effective, and appropriate technical assistance to child welfare jurisdictions throughout the country, both proactively and in response to requests. The Director has responsibility for outcomes from Casey’s delivery of assistance in designated areas including but not limited to differential response, team decision making, safety and risk, and investigation and assessment.</p>
<h3>Minimum Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Master’s Degree in Social Work</li>
<li>Pubic Administration or other closely related field with 8-10 years of relevant experience required</li>
<li>History of progressively increasing responsibility in supervision/management</li>
<li>Experience in establishment and maintenance of operational and administrative standards required</li>
<li>Knowledge of child welfare administration, practice and issues required</li>
<li>Experience in management supervision and coordination of a team is essential to success in this position</li>
<li>Candidate must have budget business planning experience</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in child welfare and continuous quality improvement</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience in social program evaluation</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to lead systems improvement work in a deadline-driven environment is required</li>
<li>Demonstrated skills in publication and report writing for a variety of audiences including practitioners, consumers and policy makers is essential</li>
<li>A balance of assertiveness and diplomacy is important, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with a team of professionals, internal and external to Casey</li>
<li>Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) is essential</li>
